Needs More than

I had been using this app and it was ok, pretty much only the basics - ability to locate the vehicle, unlock information technology, look up service locations, etc. Subsequently using their competitors app, the one from Affalterbach, I Actually want remote beginning, even if the car shuts down when unlocked. Why VW/Audi tin can't add basics like remote start, 360 automobile-recording dash cams, and other such things for the premium that they accuse on their vehicles and subscriptions; I don't know?? 1 more thing that'due south really annoying me - I ordered a new Audi from a local dealership, and I can't even track status on the My Audi app. What's upwardly with that?? …tracking a machine in manufacturing isn't that challenging in today's historic period of the modern factory and all I really want to know are the basics - is it being manufactured, is it delayed considering of the fleck shortage, is it being prepped for delivery to the dock, is it on a boat, did it arrive to the U.s.a., etc. I'm not asking to track every role of the manufacturing procedure. I worried most my car for the whole trip. When I got back the window was up. Contrary to literature there is no trip planning that guides you through accuse points. You take to use the electrify America app to get the charger address and then set up that in the navigation. I feel the materials presented on the Audi website don't accurately explicate all of this data. In that location is also no customer solution when the services fail equally they are now

I did call the 800 number and was told to download some other (nonAudi) navigation app. The nigh recent update does not work and while the phone app map now allows you to include a charging stop in your plans it does not work when you ship the trip program to the automobile.

Useless app that lets y'all stranded in your EV

It's very apparent that this app is a „gazillion" miles away from the experience that true EV apps bring to customers. Compare Tesla. Even compare BMW. Both are much, much, much amend in terms of design, usability, customer centricity ... you name it. This app but looks like somebody threw random functionality somewhere onto the screen without whatsoever reason. It's bad.

What's worse: I depended on this app to recharge my electric vehicle, the eTron. So here I am, almost out of charge, trying to initiate a charge at an Electrify America station. You press the push ... and a blank screen opens. Goose egg. I close the app. I open up it again. Aforementioned screen. Nothing. So hither I am, in the eye of nowhere with an empty bombardment and an Audi App that does not allow me initiate a accuse.

I could maybe tolerate an ugly app with random pattern and useless functions, only what I can't tolerate is an app where the basic functions for EV drivers are declining when y'all need them. Shame on yous Audi! That's my first and last 90K USD EV that I'll be ownership from y'all. I highly recommend anybody considering using this with their EV to go and purchase a Tesla or another serious EV vehicle, not ane where y'all're a beta tester of a terrible, terrible app. Shame on Audi!
